Interviewing at Pinwheel

What to expect
During the interview process, you’ll meet with your recruiter, three to four people in your respective function, and two Pinwheel executives.

We’re invested in you from the get-go, so our questions are designed to gain a better understanding of you holistically.

Since each member of the Pinwheel team is a cultural founder, it’s equally important for you to know our mission and how you can leave your mark here.
Business Interviews
Five stages (all conducted virtually)
  • Intro call with recruiter - 30 min
  • Call with hiring manager - 30 min
  • Take-home case study (if applicable)
  • Team interviews (Two to three interviews with direct or cross-functional teams - 30 min ea)
  • Executive behavioral interviews (Two interviews with a Pinwheel executive - 30 min ea)
Engineering Interviews
Four stages (all conducted virtually)
  • Intro call with recruiter - 30 min
  • Technical screen - 45 min (via Coderpad)
  • Technical onsite (Practical programming - 1 hour (via Coderpad), System design - 1 hour (via Coderpad), Call with hiring manager (45 minutes)
  • Executive behavioral interviews (Two interviews with a Pinwheel executive - 30 min ea)
