Submit a dispute

If you have applied for credit and you gave your lender permission to use your data in the credit decisioning process by logging into your payroll platform through Pinwheel, you can request to view the information shared with the lender with our consumer request form. If you find inaccurate information in that report that was used to make a credit decision, you can reach out to us to submit a dispute.

You can submit your dispute by mail to Pinwheel, Suite 1101, 22 W 22nd St, New York, NY 10010, or through our secure portal here.

Your dispute must be in writing and include all of the following:

  • Your full name, SSN, address, email, phone number, and the financial institution you connected to Pinwheel through.
  • Your consumer ID number, found in the footer of your consumer report.
  • A description of the specific information that is inaccurate.
  • Supporting documentation of why the information is inaccurate, pulled directly from your payroll platform (e.g., downloaded paystubs).
