We’re thrilled to share that Jaimeson Rice has been promoted to be the next Chief Executive Officer of Pinwheel. Jaimeson is succeeding our Co-Founder Kurtis Lin, who is transitioning to a new role as Executive Chairman of the Pinwheel Board of Directors after nearly 8 years leading the company as our founding CEO.
In his role as Pinwheel’s Chief Financial Officer for the past 3 years, Jaimeson has been an instrumental leader partnering closely with Kurtis in shaping Pinwheel’s growth, enabling our groundbreaking PreMatch technology via first-of-its kind strategic partnerships with payroll providers, building out Pinwheel’s headquarters in NYC, and recruiting and managing our stellar cross-functional team of Pinwheelies. Prior to joining Pinwheel, Jaimeson held roles at Goldman Sachs and Bain & Company, and was Founder/CEO of Vlaris (SaaS CRM startup).

On his promotion, Jaimeson remarked, “I have learned a tremendous amount from Kurt over these past 3 years and am grateful for all we’ve accomplished together. I’m honored to be entrusted with carrying forward our mission and look forward to partnering with Kurt in his new capacity to lead this next phase in Pinwheel’s journey.”
We thank Kurt for an exceptional run as CEO and for laying such a strong foundation for the future of Pinwheel. Team Pinwheel is well poised for an accelerated phase of growth under Jaimeson’s leadership, having recently celebrated marquee customer wins including KeyBank, Robinhood, DoorDash, and MoneyLion, in addition to launching the Switch Kit and Bill Navigator products earlier this year.
